Following the success of the Second Conference of Research Software Engineers, we have secured another great venue, the Bramall Building which includes the Elgar Concert Hall at the University of Birmingham for our third conference, on 3rd and 4th September 2018. We are seeking to expand to around 300 attendees, again with an international mix, and a programme full of interesting talks, discussion sessions and practical workshops. We hope that you can join us there for a great opportunity to look at the latest technical updates and network with the best in UK academia and industry in the field of research software engineering.
Tier-2/Regional HPC Workshop
James Grant (Bath) & Andy Turner (Edinburgh) invite you to register for this workshop that will be held on Wednesday 5th Sept for RSEs involved in Tier-2/Regional HPC or interested in contributing to the community https://goo.gl/h5YDeg
This is separate to the conference so you don’t have to register for the conference to attend this all day workshop. It will be held at the University of Birmingham.
RSE 2018 is the perfect opportunity to promote your products and services to research software engineering leaders and decision makers (present and future) at the only conference purpose built for RSEs.
We have run two popular and successful RSE conferences in 2016 and 2017, which has only been possible with the generous funding of those who support our mission of creating a community, promoting best practice and raising awareness of Research Software Engineers in the UK and internationally.
The conference this year will be bigger and hopefully even better. Join 300+ delegates in Great Hall at the University of Birmingham, a wonderful large, airy space that will be dedicated to the Exhibitors. In line with the expansion in delegate numbers we’re planning more exhibitors than any year so far and will make the exhibitor hall a really beneficial experience for both the delegates and the exhibitors/sponsors.
