The University of Bristol is seeking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to the Department of Computer Science. Candidates are sought with expertise and research interests in high performance computing (HPC). With this appointment the department seeks to expand its activity in high performance computing architectures, systems and software. The successful candidate will be expected to take a major role in strengthening and growing this area of research and teaching at Bristol.

You will have an outstanding research track record, undertaking innovative work that complements the Department’s existing research and teaching activities. You will be attracting international recognition and will have published a significant number of high quality papers. You will have proven ability to attract research funding from funding agencies and/or industry. You will have experience of taking an active role in delivering and innovating high quality teaching in computer science at undergraduate and masters-level.

This post is being offered on a full-time, open-ended contract.

•One on their research plans and how they will impact on the research profile of the Department; and
•One on the contributions that they can make to teaching in the Department, especially in respect of innovation in delivery and content.
