The Numerical Algorithms Group (NAG) and the University of Manchester are looking for a Numerical Software Developer to undertake a 36-month project. The successful candidate will develop leading-edge numerical linear algebra algorithms for NAG software to exploit emerging computer architectures.

You should have a PhD, or equivalent, in mathematics, or a mathematically based subject. You past work should involve writing algorithms, preferably in a numerical linear algebra setting. You should also have experience of software development in C and/or Fortran and preferably some parallel programming experience.
